Spring through Fall finds us at our "Yak Shack" at Onancock Wharf on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Onancock Creek is the perfect launch for kayak, SUP or bike rentals and 2-hour tours. Full day trips to the barrier islands, Schooner Bay or to see the Chincoteague ponies. Multi-day lodge-based or camping trips available. FREE rental deliveries to your vacation home.
APRIL - OCTOBER
Two unique adventures created by Burnham Guides are centered around the virtually undiscovered Golfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula on the South Pacific Coast, one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth. Spend a week or more with us kayaking around the Golfo Dulce, hiking Corcovado National Park, bird, dolphin and wildlife watching. Optional activities: Ziplining, sloth garden, chocolate farm, horseback riding. Lodging is in comfortable eco-lodges with all meals provided.

About Us
We've always thought work should be fun, so early on we combined the things we love doing together--writing and the outdoors. Twenty-five years later, we have eight books, and our own outfitting business to take people to our favorite places. Visit us at our paddling shop on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Spring through Fall.
